Chronology


I recieved my B.S. in Geosciences from Mississippi State University in 2002. Please visit the Department of Geoscience webpage.

After graduation, I worked for the National Park Service at Great Basin National Park. I was employed as a physical science technician with the cave crew in the resource management division.

After leaving Great Basin in 2003, I moved to Tampa, Florida. I received my M.S. degree in Geology from the University of South Florida in 2005. My research interests include hydrology, karst geomorphology and GIS. Please visit the USF Karst Research Group webpage. My thesis focused on mapping karst sinkholes in Pinellas County, FL using airborne laser swath mapping (ALSM). Link to .pdf forthcoming.

After graduation, I worked for FEMA at the Long Term Recovery Office in Orlando, Florida. My primary duty was GIS analysis for post-Hurricane Wilma recovery.

I am currently employed by the USDA Agricultural Research Service in Oxford, MS.

Hobbies: caving, rock climbing, mountain biking and watching college football.
